Community Service Club

The Community Service Club provides an opportunity to promote growth of student character through developing empathy and community ties.  Our objective is to collaborate with community organizations and encourage students to be actively involved in volunteer opportunities.

Activities and collaborations:

School beautification

Collaboration with the NYC Parks Dept. to enhance our city parks and reduce pollution

Participation in “Books with Boroughbreds” at NYCACC Animal Shelter

Reading with Elementary students – an expansion of the Buddy System starting in the Fall – 2020 to strengthen our Shuang Wen Community

社區服務社團：

社區服務社團是以培養同情心，發展社區聯繫來促進學生人格成長的機會。我們的目標是與社區組織合作，並鼓勵學生積極參與志工機會。

當前的活動和合作：

學校美化並與公園部門合作，以改善我們的城市公園並減少污染。

參與NYCACC動物收容所的“良種犬書籍” 活動。

籌款活動，讓澳大利亞的野火和動物庇護所受益。

與小學生一起閱讀。

我們很高興在秋天與社區小學擴展我們的伙伴系統，並繼續合作和增強我們的2020雙文大家庭。
